Dae-Rak(樂)ro: A Street of Great Joy
Daehakro is a place where it often feels like a shame to leave right after a performance. "Dae-Rak(樂)ro" is a cultural campaign in Daehakro that operates "Seasonal Plays" and "After Theater" to ensure you can enjoy your visit more fully before and after a show. Why not stay longer and have more fun in Daehakro with a variety of content to enjoy around your performance?
The "Dae-Rak(樂)ro" campaign is a cultural initiative that extends the joy of the theater throughout the streets of Daehakro through diverse programs linked to performances. From August to December 2026, join us every Saturday at the Seoul Theater Center for special programs that make your Daehakro experience even richer!
■ Seasonal Plays (Every Saturday at 17:00)
"Seasonal" refers to the most appropriate time for something.
For a play, the most "seasonal" moment is always the present moment it is on stage.
Works awaiting their official opening will visit the audience first in a showcase format, presenting performances that capture their freshest moments.
Be the first to experience these special stages that can only be seen before the official opening.
■ After Theater (Every Saturday at 22:00)
At 10 PM, when the shows end, the joy of Daehakro is not over yet.
Enjoy seasonal refreshments and drinks (including alcohol) while experiencing new weekly themed programs, such as ghost story readings, comedy, live performances, and DJ sets.
Extend the emotion of the performance into the night of Daehakro and experience a special time where actors and audiences mingle together.
■ Operation Period (Every Saturday from August to December 2026, 17:00 / 22:00)
※ Not operational during the Chuseok holiday (9/26) and National Foundation Day (10/3).
