After living abroad for a long time, a sense of alienation emerged upon returning home; places that were once familiar had become unfamiliar.
Feeling moments of strangeness within familiar landscapes, "Landing" is an exhibition that allows viewers to observe daily life through the eyes of an artist who has landed in the middle ground (Limbo) between familiarity and misalignment.
As such, the way Kang Min-ju—a selected artist for '2026 The Impact'—views the world is intriguing, yet the colors and mood of the works provide us with a sense of comfort.
You can experience the irony of finding healing while gazing at ironic landscapes. Starting August 25th, why not join us in embracing this irony at the Cultural Experimental Space Hosu?
