"Perhaps, All of Us" is an exhibition that questions how we relate to one another and coexist in today's world, where different life conditions and experiences intersect. Planned in Seoul and touring through Washington D.C. and Ottawa, this exhibition focuses on the shared spatiality of these cities as national capitals, deriving three core axes: publicness, historicity, and diversity.

As centers of politics and administration where diverse cultures intersect, these cities are spaces where collective memories and identities accumulate, while boundaries are simultaneously and constantly established and reorganized.

Part 1: The Us We Do Not Know, which deals with publicness, examines the ways we perceive and relate to one another—the subtle points where "us" and "the other" are distinguished, and where exclusion and hospitality intersect. Part 2: Dislocated Time summons forgotten or silenced moments to explore how the present has been formed upon certain accumulations and omissions.

Through this, it seeks to perceive the present anew and view the coming future within a historical context. Part 3: Perhaps, All of Us faces the strangeness and differences that arise atop the layers of publicness and historicity, exploring the possibility that the diversity we each possess can lead to coexistence.

Through contemporary Korean art, this exhibition illuminates the intersection of individual experience and social context, prompting us to re-examine the norms and boundaries we have taken for granted. The stories told by the artworks do not remain confined to the emotions of a specific region but resonate with the situations faced by all of us living in the contemporary era.

In the attempt to gauge each other's lives and time, we empathize with the experiences of others and witness the process of that empathy expanding into solidarity; perhaps, upon that accumulated sensation, we can finally draw closer to the name "us."
