Palmido Cruise (팔미도유람선)

The Palmido Cruise is a sightseeing cruise that departs from Yeonan Pier in Jemulpo-gu, Incheon. The route to Palmido Island, located approximately 16 km west of Yeonan Pier, offers views of the Incheondaegyo Bridge and the islands of the West Sea. Palmido Island is home to Korea’s first modern lighthouse, which was lit in 1903. The old lighthouse has been designated as a National Historic Site, and the new lighthouse, built in 2003, stands side by side with it.

Palmido Island was long restricted as a military protection zone but was opened to the public in 2009. Visitors can explore the lighthouse, the Lighthouse History Museum, Sopalmido Beach, and the Dulle Trail. Cruise options include a round-trip route to Palmido Island lasting approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes and an 80-minute sightseeing cruise around the waters off Incheon.

Depending on the season and day of the week, additional programs such as a sunset cruise to view the sunset over the West Sea, a fireworks cruise, and squid fishing on board are also available. The Camellia Cruise, currently in service, consists of three decks: the first deck features a snack bar and a karaoke room; the second deck has an indoor seating area; and the third deck offers an outdoor Observatory with a 360-degree view.
