The Dongducheon Special Tourist Zone is known for its diverse attractions, including the scenic Soyosan Mountain and the historical Camp Bosan area, which has transformed into a bustling shopping district. This area offers a unique blend of various ethnicities and cultures. In spring, azaleas paint Soyosan Mountain in shades of pink, while autumn brings a palette of stunning fall colors.

Near Camp Casey military base in Bosan-dong, there are more than 230 establishments, including foreign cuisine restaurants, art studios, and custom-made clothing stores, reflecting the long-standing influence of the US military in the area.
