The Yong Theater at the National Museum of Korea presents a new artifact-linked series that reinterprets our cultural heritage through performing arts. The 2026 new production, <Sound: The Seongdeok Daewang Bell>, retells the story of the bell, which has resonated for over a thousand years, through three key numbers: '√2, 64Hz, and 771 AD.'
This performance reimagines the scientific principles, historical significance, and enduring resonance of the Seongdeok Daewang Bell in a musical stage production that blends traditional and contemporary elements.
