The performance 'Arabian Sanjo' is a program that reconstructs traditional narratives into a modern musical language, centered on Gayageum Sanjo and Byeongchang. The stage features traditional and creative pieces containing regionality and lyricism, such as Gangneung Palgyeongga, Songs of Saimdang, and Haslla Fantasy, as well as creative repertoires inspired by the major narratives of Pansori.

In 'Arabian Sanjo,' Middle Eastern melodic imagery is added to the narrative of Jeokbyeokga, demonstrating the improvisational nature and scalability of traditional Sanjo. 'Continental Magic' modernizes the dynamism of traditional rhythms through a composition where 휘몰이 (Hwimori) rhythms and funk rhythms intersect. Additionally, pieces like 'Sunrise' and 'The Land of Morning Calm' combine elements of jazz and world music, presenting a stage where the deep lyricism of Gayageum Sanjo and Byeongchang naturally blends with the free sensibility of contemporary music.

This program breathes through a modern language while being rooted in tradition, offering a new proposal for the possibilities of Gayageum Sanjo and Byeongchang on a contemporary stage.
